SOTA Fighting Systems combines modern day reality based training techniques with the progressive rank and structure of traditional martial arts. All training will involve performing techniques on an actual physical target, in the form of drills with a partner, or in short fight scenarios designed to developed specific reactions and techniques that are of importance to your overall defensive ability.
Students are encouraged to think for themselves and be able to answer the important questions about technique. Why does it work or not work and when or where should it be applied? This method of training will benefit the student in many ways. Aside from being able to defend oneself, the student will also learn to be open minded, confident yet humble, and self disciplined.
